EN71-8 Probe C
Testing for head and neck entrapment is done using probe C.
Application
Activity Toys with fully accessible apertures that are 600 mm or higher above the ground or any other surface that is large enough to support a child must be evaluated using a probe.

Procedure
Probes C and D should be inserted first, and then you should check to see if they stick out past the opening by more than 100 mm. Without adjusting the direction during insertion, place the probes at the position that is the most difficult.
